Contract Manager - Landscaping and Arb 

Beechwood Trees & Landscapes Ltd is seeking an experienced and dynamic Commercial Manager to oversee our tree surgery and landscaping projects across the UK.

This is an exciting opportunity for an individual with a broad understanding of arboriculture and landscaping operations, combined with strong commercial acumen, to join a fast-growing company with a reputation for excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

Tendering and Estimation:

  • Review and interpret client specifications to prepare comprehensive tenders and Bills of Quantities (BOQs) for commercial projects.
  • Develop cost-effective and competitive pricing strategies.
  • Ensure all documentation is completed to a high standard and submitted within deadlines.

Project Oversight:

  • Provide commercial oversight for a diverse portfolio of tree surgery and landscaping projects.
  • Monitor project progress to ensure delivery meets client expectations and financial targets.
  • Work closely with operational teams to align project execution with specifications and budgets.

Client and Stakeholder Engagement:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with commercial clients, consultants, and suppliers.
  • Act as a key point of contact for clients, addressing queries and resolving any concerns promptly.

Business Development:

  • Identify new opportunities and contribute to the growth of the business.
  • Collaborate with senior management to develop strategies for expanding our client base and service offering.

Compliance and Quality Control:

  • Ensure all projects meet regulatory and industry standards.
  • Uphold the company’s commitment to safety, quality, and sustainability.

Preferred Skills

Requirements:

  • Comprehensive knowledge of arboriculture and landscaping operations, with a proven track record in managing commercial projects.
  • Strong understanding of specifications, tendering processes, and BOQ preparation.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to produce clear and detailed documentation.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team, with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Flexibility to travel across the UK as required, with occasional overnight stays.
  • Full UK driving license.
