Job Overview:
UA-5 is seeking experienced Utility Surveyors to join our team as subcontractors. This role involves carrying out detailed surveys of utility infrastructure, ensuring accurate data collection and compliance with industry regulations. The position offers flexibility and the opportunity to work on various projects across the UK.
Key Responsibilities:
Conducting on-site utility surveys, permissioning work and le-aising with tree cutting operatives.
Using advanced surveying technology to deliver survey report forms.
Identifying and recording the location of overhead utilities and tree works required.
Ensuring all survey data is accurate and delivered within project deadlines.
Working in compliance with health & safety regulations and industry best practices.
Collaborating with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Utility Arb Surveyor.
Knowledge of UK Electrical network regulations.
Proficiency in using surveying software
Relevant industry qualifications (e.g. UA-1, UA-2.1, UA-5, 401,402,501 etc )
Own equipment and vehicle preferred but not essential.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently.
Preferred Skills
UA5 Utility Arboriculture Surveyor Certification (essential).
LANTRA/NPTC qualifications (desirable).
First Aid + F (Forestry) Certification (advantageous).
CSCS Card or equivalent health & safety training.
