Bawden Tree Care, an Arboricultural Association Approved Contractor, has an exciting vacancy for a motivated, organised and dynamic Tree Care Manager.

Reporting to the Company Directors, the successful candidate will manage and develop our busy arboricultural department. Working with our Operations Manager to ensure all work meets quality and safety standards whilst monitoring from initial customer interaction to completion of works. Adopting similar responsibilities regarding the completion of arboricultural surveys, report writing and recommended works, with our Arboricultural Surveyor.

The role demands excellent organisational skills, good time management, exceptional communication skills and great strategic thinking. Meeting with customers and clients, quoting and tendering, offering advice and guidance on all aspects of tree care and maintenance, there is a need to be flexible and professional to ensure that a high standard of customer service is delivered each and every time.

Essential Requirements

Appropriate industry qualifications, knowledge and experience.
Tree identification & disease knowledge
Clean driving licence
Develop and maintain good Customer communications
IT literate
Strong understanding of specifications, tendering processes and quote preparation
H&S compliance & quality control
Personnel Management of Tree Care team

Desirable Requirements

Member of Arboricultural Association
PTI qualification

Preferred Skills

The ability to manage workload and supervise others concurrently.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Effective organisational skills.
Excellent customer service skills.
Ability to multi-task and meet required deadlines.
