An incredible opportunity to work from home for a tech based arboricultural consultancy as part of the ROVAR Group.

From surveying open moorlands with our UAV (drones) to residential BS5837 surveys the work is a diverse as you will find in the UK.

Our head office is located in Inverness in the beautiful Scottish Highlands and we work nationwide supported by a network of home based consultants.

A fantastic life/work balance awaits where daily commutes are banished.

You will be responsible for the surveying and inspection of trees, both for development sites and health and safety; assisting with the preparation associated reports; using CAD and GIS systems; and directly liaising with clients, local planning authorities & the public.

The role will be approx. 40/60 office / site based.

Progression is guaranteed with opportunities to work across the business from contracting air spade investigations to drone operation.

You will be responsible for a set area and work under our lead consultant Peter.

Preferred Skills

The applicant will be:

* Diligent, accurate trustworthy and punctual

*Driven to take this opportunity to learn, grow and provide a consistently high level of service, as part of our motivated team

*Have skills in arboriculture including knowledge of legislation, guidance documents and advisory notes, and be prepared to advance knowledge through ongoing CPD

*Tech qualification in Arb, Level 3 or higher in arboriculture or closely related field

*Preferably hold the Lantra Professional Tree Inspection Certificate and be a member of the Arboricultural Association and/or Institute of Chartered Foresters

*Be prepared to travel nationwide as and when required

*Must be computer and IT literate with experience in using Google products, excellent report writing and language skills and an understanding of time management

Our service delivery is unique, disruptive and innovative. The role would suit someone looking to either side side into consultancy from counteracting OR newly graduated with a desire to learn.

You will be home based with a vehicle, phone, lap top, survey equipment and drone training. So fully supported…
