We are looking for an Assistant Arboricultural and Horticultural Officers, who will play a key role in shaping the borough’s landscape, supporting the management of our tree stock, green spaces, and horticultural assets. You’ll work alongside a passionate team, contributing to contract management, emergency response, and community engagement.

What you’ll do:
- Carry out annual tree inspections.
- Manage contracts and assist in the development and delivery of our Arboricultural and Horticultural services.

Preferred Skills
What we’re looking for:
- Qualifications: ND in Arboriculture Level 3 or equivalent Arboricultural qualifications.
- Experience: While practical experience as a Tree Inspector is desirable, we’re happy to provide on-the-job training for the right candidates.
- Knowledge: A good understanding of tree-related legislation and tree species identification.
- Physical Fitness: Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions and performing manual tasks.
- Familiar with basic Windows programmes
