Utility Arborist Wanted - Basingstoke

About the job

We are seeking skilled climbing Arborist to join our family run team, responsible for the care and maintenance of trees around over head lines on the SSE network.

Responsibilities

• Perform pruning, dismantle and removal of vegetaion around OHL.
• Operate chainsaws, chippers, 2.7 ton arb digger, mewp and other associated plant.
• Collaborate with team members to complete projects in a timely manner while adhering to safety protocols.

Pay: £150.00-£200.00 per day depending on experience 

Preferred Skills

Essential qualifications

• Basic chainsaw - CS30-31
• Climbing & chainsaw from rope & harness CS38-39
• Wood chipper
• First aid + F
• UA1, UA2, 2.2, 2.3
• valid drivers licence

Desirable qualifications

• 2 Years + experience utility arb
• SSE Authorisation
• Mewp & chainsaw from mewp
• 360 excavator 
• Strong mechanical knowledge related to the operation of arb equipment.
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high standards of work quality to BS339

UA qualifications are essential, while all other necessary training will be provided to the right candidate.
