Tree Surgery Jobs in South East, London
We are currently seeking a lead climber/arborist, ideally would have around 5 years of experience and all relevant tickets. Applicants should be able to:
- Execute all aspects of tree work
- Lead a team and assist/supervise ground staff
- Utilise hand and power tools, as well as mechanical equipment, for efficient maintenance and repairs.
- Execute rigging operations safely and effectively when necessary.
- be proficient with the use of spikes
- Collaborate with team members to ensure project completion and adherence to high level of safety standards & quality of work
- Speak with customers in a professional manner
- Be highly motivated and able to work to an extremely high standard of both safety and quality
London Travel
Our yard/office is a five minute walk from Honor Oak Park Overground (Windrush Line) Station / Southern Rail direct to London Bridge, Victoria, Croydon and Surrey. Buses P12, P4 171 and 122
Preferred Skills
Qualifications and Experience: Applicants must hold:
- City & Guilds NPTC Level 2, Chainsaw Maintenance and Cross Cutting
- City & Guilds NPTC Level 2, Felling and Processing Trees up to 380mm
- City & Guilds NPTC Level 2, Tree Climbing and Rescue
- City & Guilds NPTC Level 3, Aerial Cutting of Trees with a Chainsaw Using Free-fall Techniques
- City & Guilds NPTC level 3, Aerial Tree Rigging (preferred)
- A UK driving licence.
