Arborist Climber Jobs in Surrey

As a Second Climber, you will support the Lead Climber in various tree care operations, including pruning, dismantling, and other tree maintenance. This role is ideal for individuals looking to enhance their climbing skills and advance their career in arboriculture.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in tree climbing and aerial operations with the Lead Climber.

• Perform ground-based tasks as required.

• Ensure all work is conducted safely and efficiently, adhering to company and industry standards.

• Maintain and inspect climbing and safety equipment regularly.

• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth workflow and client satisfaction.

Preferred Skills

• Minimum of 2 years' experience in arboriculture, with proficiency in climbing techniques.

• Relevant and up to date NPTC/LANTRA certifications 

• Strong understanding of correct arboricultural techniques and a commitment to staying current with industry best practices.

• Commitment to health and safety practices.

• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

• Full UK driving license (preferred).
