The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out VTAs and BS5837 tree surveys and reports, tree management plans, mortgage reports, tree mapping (CAD and GIS technologies) and community engagement.

Preferred SkillsEssential Requirements:
Relevant qualification to level 4 or above
Professional Tree Inspection Certificate (PTI);
Tree surveying experience;
Understanding of Tree Preservation Orders and Legislation;
Good understanding of arboricultural principles and a passion for urban forestry;
Computer and IT literate with experience in using Microsoft Office;
Good report writing and language skills;
Initiative and drive, with a positive attitude;
Strong organisational skills and ability to work under pressure to deadlines;
Enthusiastic and flexible approach to work;
Ability to work under your own initiative and as part of a team;
Strong interpersonal skills and able to work at all levels with members of the public;
A valid UK driving licence;
Knowledge of the planning systems;
Flexibility to work away from home on occasions
Tree risk assessment qualification/training
