About the job

Due to continued growth and opportunity John O Conner GM Ltd is mobilising an arboricultural services department from its depot in Irvine Scotland.
Responsible for managing a team and delivering high quality tree work for new and existing customers this is an exciting opportunity with potential for career growth and development

Preferred Skills

You will need to hold NPTC qualifications for ground based and aerial chainsaw activities including as a minimum CS30, CS31, CS38, CS39, chipper operation, maintenance and an in date emergency first aid certificate (preferably arb/forestry specific).

A level 2 qualification in Arboriculture would be an advantage as would certificates in rigging operations and MEWP competency, New Roads and Street Works act certification.

As well as being a competent climber with a minimum of 2 years climbing experience you will have a keen focus on safe working practice, care and maintenance of arboricultural plant, vehicles and equipment and a passion for high quality tree care.

You must be focused, committed and hard working and as well as being resourceful and able to work well with others should be a motivator and an independent self starter

A full driving licence is required as a minimum and 2 references will be required
