Gosport Borough Council is committed to providing effective tree management to ensure trees under its control are maintained in a safe condition. The Arboriculture Officer working within the Parks and Open Spaces section plays a key role in ensuring this commitment can be met by applying the Council’s Tree Policy. A corporate priority is to make Gosport a cleaner, greener place to live, work and visit and planting new trees is one of the ways of realising this priority.
Preferred Skills
Do you want to be part of an experienced, enthusiastic and multi-disciplinary team responsible for protecting the Borough’s treescape and managing its Greenspaces?
Do you have a qualification in Arboriculture to level 4, or an equivalent working experience, or are you working towards level 4.
