Oakfall Tree Surgery are looking for enthusiastic individuals for the role of Groundsperson

Groundsperson - The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of tree care and maintenance, with the ability to safely perform a variety of tasks related to the health and aesthetics of trees. This role involves working outdoors in various weather conditions, using various equipment from chainsaws to chippers, and other tree surgery equipment to ensure the proper care of trees and landscapes. Further training, courses and skill building will be available to the right candidate for career development opportunities.

Responsibilities .

• Operate tools such as chainsaws, stump grinders, and chippers safely and effectively.
• To work to a high standard, with exceptional clearing up skills
• Ensure all work is carried out in compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Communicate effectively with clients regarding tree care services and recommendations.

Preferred Skills

Skills

• Proficient in using tools relevant to tree surgery.
• CS30/31 and arieal rescue
• Excellent physical fitness to handle the demands of outdoor work.
• Strong attention to detail with a focus on safety practices in all tasks performed.
• Good communication skills for client interaction and teamwork.

We carry out a mixture of domestic and commercial work using a range of our own equipment including a 17 meter spider cherry picker, Avant 745, Kubota U27, predator stump grinder, tracked and road tow chippers.

We are currently a skilled team of four that take pride in our work and prioritise customer satisfaction.
