Red Squirrel Tree Surgery based in Ealing West London. We are a professionally run business who work at a consistently high standard.

We require a fully qualified and high caliber Lead Climber to work in the West and South West London. You will have opportunities to work across all aspects of tree works and will be paid on experience. Pay rates range from £40,000 - £50,000.

At Red Squirrel Tree Surgery you will work as part of a friendly team on all aspects of tree surgery. We operate on a firm but fair basis, offering good rates of pay for the right applicant, depending on ability/ experience.

The position offered is for starting immediately, and will be subject to a paid trial day. Full time permanent contract (following probationary period) 40 hrs. per week. Overtime opportunities 24 Hr. Emergency call out cover, 28 days Holiday allowance Including Bank Holidays.

All applicants with relevant experience and necessary certificates will be considered, although those with post 1997 UK driving licence is highly desirable.

Preferred Skills

To be eligible, applicants will need:

  • CS30 and Maintain the Chainsaw (Compulsory)
  • CS31 Fell Small Trees (Compulsory)
  • CS38 Climb Trees & perform Aerial rescue
  • CS39 Operate the chainsaw from a rope & harness
  • Brushwood Chipper operations
  • NPTC First Aid awareness/certification (beneficial).

We currently work for councils such as The Royal Borough of Kensington & Chelsea & The London Borough of Hammersmith & Fulham and large construction companies such as Multiplex and Lendlease.
