Arborist Wanted- Dundee / Perth area

Job Purpose

We are recruiting Arborists for locations in Dundee, Perth and the Ayrshire area, locations can be discussed at application stage. The role is to deliver frontline quality Arboriculture services competently and safely to our customers ensuring specification standards are exceeded first time every time and incorporating Tivoli business values.

Key Accountabilities

    • Competent in all aspects of tree surgery both on commercial and residential properties.
    • A can-do attitude and pride in your work.
    • Assessing structural damage and hazards to identify best methods for tree felling and pruning.
    • Competent in performing tree surgery safely, utilising a varied range of Arb equipment.
    • Ability to carry out daily checks on all equipment, machinery, and vehicles.
    • Ensuring that Risk Assessments and Safe Methods of working are adhered to in accordance with Company Policy.
    • Communicate and liaise with customer’s site representatives to ensure performance satisfaction and attend site inductions, as necessary.

 

Person Specification

  • Relevant and demonstrable experience and practices within the Arboriculture industry.
  • Highly motivated with the ability to work independently and within a team.
  • Organisational skills and ability to use your own initiative.
  • The ability to problem solve and implement resolutions swiftly.
  • Effective communication skills adapting communication style to sit different audiences.

Functional / Technical Skills

  • Full UK Driving Licence (preferred)
  • NPTC units CS30, CS31, CS38, CS39, and ideally CS41 (required)
  • B&E Trailer (Desirable)
  • Woodchipper(Desirable)
