Arboriculture Officer (Career Graded)
Salary: Starting at £25,545 per annum - rising to £37,336 per annum following completion of full qualifications and experience
Essential car user allowance
Permanent Contract
Full time (37 hours per week)

We are looking for an enthusiastic individual to join our Development Team. Career development is at the heart of our culture and we will take you on a journey to obtain full professional membership of Arboriculture Association. A structured training programme will be put in place with a combination of academic and on the job training and through hard work and dedication you will see financial reward for your achievements.
Agile working is applicable for these positions however due to the nature of the roles site visits and Office time would be expected.

Preferred Skills
A degree level qualification in a subject relating to arboriculture or equivalent.
Comprehensive knowledge of arboriculture issues, legislation, policies, guidance and good practice.
Evidence of continuing professional development .
Access to a vehicle and driving license.
Experience in delivering arboriculture services in the public or private sector.
Detailed knowledge of the practical application of processes/procedures relevant to arboriculture.
Experience of carrying out tree surveys and inspections, developing risk assessments and recommending appropriate management action.
Experience of woodland management.
Experiencing of writing reports, policies, guidance and other documents for a wide range of audience.
