Role: Arboricultural consultant
Location: Home Counties
Salary: £34 – 40k per annum

We are an Arboricultural Association Approved Contractor delivering high quality arboricultural services to our clients.

We are now looking for a full time consultant/surveyor to provide arboricultural consultancy services for our existing clients and with a remit to grow and develop the consultancy service

Preferred Skills

Skills, Qualifications and Experience:

Essential:

Minimum QCF level 4 qualification in Arboriculture
Lantra Professional Tree Inspection Certificate
High level knowledge of and ability to identify tree species, pests and diseases
Knowledge of tree biomechanics and the impacts of pests and diseases on physiological and structural condition of trees
Min 2 years’ experience inspecting trees / BS5837 working in a similar role and report writing
Experience in use of tree management software and GIS/AUTO CAD
Appropriate and proportional CPD record in arboriculture and related fields
Confident verbal and written communicator and experience in Microsoft Office suite of applications
UK Driving licence

Desirable

AA Reg Consultant / ICF Chartered Forester or similar
Woodland management/silviculture qualifications and experience
Experience in practical arboriculture / NPTC Climb trees and perform aerial rescue
Use / working knowledge of Decay detection systems and analysis
Recognised qualification in leadership and management
Line management experience
Previous experience in B2B sales / contract development
Budget / P&L account responsibility
