About the jobInitially offered on a fixed term basis of 6 months and subject to a review after this period, either on a full or part time basis.
We currently have a vacancy for an experienced Tree Surveyor to work in the North of Scotland (Aberdeenshire, Moray, Invernessshire and Argyll). Applications are welcome from self-motivated individuals who are interested in making a positive contribution by undertaking surveys of trees within close proximity to overhead lines. The role is initially offered on a fixed term basis of 6 months and subject to a review after this period, both full and part time working hours will be considered for the right candidate. The role requires someone who is comfortable working on their own and who is physically fit and able to walk several miles on a daily basis.

Skills, Experience & Qualifications
A full UK Drivers’ license
Familiar with Word and Excel programmes and able to operate software systems on Tablet hardware in the field.
UA 5 qualified.
Able to communicate positively with a wide range of landowners/managers.
Willing to work for extended periods in the North of Scotland.
UA 2.3 qualified
Authorised to work for SSEN.
Formal level 4 qualification in arboriculture.
