About the CompanyRed Squirrel Tree Surgery Ltd. are an Arboricultural Association approved contractor. We always carry out work to British standards (BS3998) and meet all health and safety regulations required for tree surgeons.
We carry out council, commercial and private work. We currently work for councils such as The Royal Borough of Kensington & Chelsea and the London Borough of Hammersmith & Fulham and large construction companies such as Multiplex and Lendlease.

We are a professionally run business who work at a consistently high standard. We require a fully qualified groundsman to work in West, North West & South West London.
At Red Squirrel Tree Surgery you will work as part of a friendly team and on all aspects of tree surgery. We operate on a firm but fair basis, offering good rates of pay for the right applicant (depending on ability/ experience). The position offered is for starting immediately, and will be subject to a paid trial day.
Full time permanent contract (following probationary period)
40 hrs. per week
24 Hr. Emergency call out cover
£70 - £110 per day dependent on skill & experience
20 days Holiday allowance plus Bank Holidays
Preferred SkillsTo be eligible you will need:
CS30 – Maintain The Chainsaw (Compulsory)
CS31 - Fell Small Trees (Compulsory)
It will also be preferable and increase pay to have:
CS36 - Cross – Cut & Stack Procedure
CS38 – Climb Trees & Perform Aerial Rescue
First Aid awareness/certification
All applicants with relevant experience and necessary certificates will be considered, although those with post 1997 UK driving licence is highly desirable.
