An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Arboriculture team as an Arborist.
As the successful candidate you will support the maintenance of the current tree stock within the Boroughs responsibility.
You will work within an operational tree team, undertaking all aspects of tree work such as, pruning and felling and continuous tree planting commitments, whilst also contributing to the overall inspections of trees across the Borough.
All tree work will include the safe use of appropriate machinery and rigging techniques within a tree at height and on the ground, while working to current industry Health & Safety standards, in a wide range of urban and woodland environments.
You will protect, enhance and promote access to the countryside and urban green spaces as well as continually improving frontline services through effective and efficient performance and customer service.
