Thompson Tree Care Ltd are looking for fully qualified arborists/climbers or ground staff with Aerial Rescue to join our experienced team on a full-time basis. Immediate start available, with trial day to see if you are the right fit with the team.

We are looking for an enthusiastic applicant, with a strong work ethic and excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities (dependent on which role applying for):

• To climb trees, performing pruning, trimming and removal tasks including felling. Assess tree health and identify potential hazards. Implement appropriate solutions for tree care and maintenance.
• Hedge cutting to a good standard.
• Operate and maintain all machinery/tools/equipment i.e. chainsaws, woodchipper, stump grinder and log splitter.
• Uphold health and safety standards at all times.
• Represent the company in a professional manner, fostering positive relationships with customers and the community.
• Able to drive company vehicles with due care and attention.

Preferred Skills

• NPTC CS 30, 31 and 38 certificates.
• CS39 and additional NPTC units or technical qualifications an advantage.
• Full clean UK Driving License.
• First Aid + F Qualification.
• A minimum of 1 year’s industry experience, able to demonstrate practical and technical competence. However, we will consider lesser experience for the right candidate.
