As part of this dedicated team no two days will be the same, you’ll want to be a big part of our outside spaces looking tip top!
This role will have you enjoying all weather types that the UK seasons bring us!
You’ll also need a full UK driving licence.
A few key points from our role profile:
- To undertake all aspects of tree care and surgery to BS 3998:2010.
- To have adequate training and qualifications to operate on occasions without supervision.
- To interpret plans and specifications, schedules, set out sites and complete all paperwork relevant to the job.
- Keep accurate vehicle, plant equipment and work programme records.
- Ensure waste is managed in line with the business certified environmental system.
- To be aware of and comply with, the relevant risk assessments, hazards and the control measures to be used.

Preferred Skills
Knowledge, Skills & Experience
All of the following requirements are essential, unless marked with a * indicating that they are desirable.
Full, clean UK driving licence with (B+E) entitlement.
Formal apprenticeship with 2 years practical arboricultural experience.
Holds all relevant City & Guilds qualifications required by legislation for climbing, working with a chainsaw in a tree and aerial rescue in a tree.
Holds all relevant City & Guilds qualifications required by legislation for maintenance and operation of a chainsaw on the ground including climbing saws, woodchippers, and stump grinders.
City & Guilds Chapter 8.*
Holder of Lantra Basic Tree Survey & Inspection qualification.
Working Knowledge of the Wildlife & Countryside Act 1981 and associated requirements.
Knowledge of all relevant legislation relating to arboricultural works e.g., LOLER, WAHR.
Qualified First Aider.*The ability to work outside in all weather conditions.
