We are seeking to recruit a temporary Project Officer to join the Planning Policy & Environment Team within our Planning Services Department for a 12-month fixed-term contract. The post holder will also be responsible for taking the appropriate desk-based steps to vary or reserve our Orders, including revoking any existing Orders, and all in line with the relevant legislation and guidance, with some support from our Legal Department for the latter stages of the process.
This is a demanding role in terms of the workload and the emotive and often polarised opinions that trees create. You must have a recognised qualification in arboriculture.
