Climber/Grounds  person Job - West Norfolk

Golden Tree Surgeons Ltd is looking for climbers/groundspeople to join the evergrowing team here in West Norfolk. As an Arb Approved contractor, we work to high standards and are passionate about ensuring our jobs are completed to an exceptional standard of excellence.

We have opportunities for both climbers/team leaders and also grounds people to work both on the larger projects (sometimes requiring night shifts) and also for the local councils and domestic customers.

Teams may be just two operatives, or it may be a large team of 5-6 people. 

The company provides liveried vehicles and all kit required as well as plant, ranging from Avant loaders, to excavators, MEWPs and grapple saws. Therefore a wide range of knowledge and experience is preferred, but training will be given if necessary.

Preferred Skills

Climber/Team Leaders will have:

• CS30/31, 38/39, EFAW+F as a minimum and ideally a valid CSCS card.
• A full clean driving licence with towing experience is also a must. HGV licence would be an advantage.
• Any other qualifications such as IPAF and SSSTS would also be an asset.

Groundspeople will have:

• CS30/31, Chipper ticket and EFAW+F. 
• Knowledge of brushcutting and vegetation management techniques is also an advantage. 
• Additional experience working with Flailbots/Greenclimbers, Avant loaders, a spraying licence is preferable

Benefits Offered

• The positions offered are full time (50 hours a week).
• Night shifts will also be required at an enhanced rate
• 21 days holiday plus bank holidays

• Pay will be offered dependent on skills
