Arborist Tree Climber Jobs - Salisbury, Wiltshire.

Bawden Tree Care is looking for experienced, qualified and enthusiastic tree climbers to join the team at our Wiltshire base

Applicants should be confident in performing tree climbing, pruning and technical removal works, working to high standards and industry best practice. Be able to operate chainsaws, rigging and other plant and equipment associated with arboriculture, in a safe and proficient manner.

The successful applicants will work as part of a skilled and focused team, completing a range of arboricultural tasks and operations.

This position is based at our Amesbury office in South Wiltshire. The job will require working within a 2-to-4-person teams on projects that vary in both size, nature and location. This role will involve travelling and, very occasionally, staying away for short periods.

Preferred Skills

Essential Requirements

Be highly motivated and able to work an extremely high standard of both safety and quality.
3 years minimum climbing experience in a similar role.
Proven track record of success in a similar role.
Relevant NPTC Units.
Full driving licence - category BE.
Be willing to work as part of a team.
A focus on safe working practice.

Desirable Skills, Qualifications & Qualities

NPTC Units: CS 32, 37, 40, 41 & 50.
Pre-1997 licence or trailer licence - C1E.
MEWP competency (IPAF).
Plant and machinery certificates; for example, wood-chipper and stump-grinder.
Mobile elevating work platforms training.
Chapter 8 - New Roads & Street Works Act Certificate.
Arboricultural Association membership.
