Utility Arborists Wanted - Ipswich

Our Role as - Utility Arborist

As a Utility Arborist, using your technical expertise, you will deliver a first-class service to our customers with safety being paramount. Your role will be to clear trees and vegetation in proximity to our clients overhead transmission and distribution network. Working with safety at the forefront of all activities, you will work with your team to evaluate, prepare and carry out tree cutting works on a variety of sites. You will be required to operate machinery his may include Chippers, MEWPs, Stump grinders etc. Working autonomously as part of a remote team, communicating locations and site conditions is also key.

Team Leader 38k-44k plus bonus, standby and overtime

Permit Holder

UA 401/402 (UA5) to enable checking of SD spans

Experience and giving feed back on other team members

Responsibility for team members checks and admin

Second Climber 30k-36k plus bonus standby and overtime

UA 304 Aerial Pruning (UA2.3)

CS 204 (Chainsaw from Ropes and Harness)

Groundman Minimum Wage -28k plus bonus, standby and overtime

Premier Tree Care established in 2015 based around Ipswich, Suffolk. Spent  the last 9 years sub contracting to many established Utility Arboriculture companies in the East Anglia region. Working on all voltages from LV to 400kv.

Premier Tree Care recently were successfully awarded a large long term contract behalf of UK Power Networks. Carrying out 11kv and LV tree maintenance and clearance work in the Ipswich and Colchester areas. Covering routine maintenance work, Live and dead works, reactive work, fault work.

Premier Tree Care also have a long term contact in place with OCS group covering the National Grid network around the Ipswich and Colchester areas.
