We are currently recruiting for qualified and experienced arborists at all levels in our Edinburgh and Central Scotland teams. You must:

The successful candidates will play a crucial role in maintaining the health, safety, and aesthetics of trees, as well as providing expert advice to clients on tree care practices.
General Responsibilities (final responsibilities will depend on experience):
- Conduct tree assessments to determine health, stability, and potential risks.
- Perform various tree care tasks, including pruning, shaping, and removals, adhering to industry standards and safety guidelines.
- Operate and maintain equipment such as chainsaws, chippers, and aerial lifts.
- Implement pest and disease management strategies to ensure the well-being of trees.
- Provide consultation and advice to clients regarding tree care practices, potential hazards, and preservation efforts.
- Collaborate with team members to execute projects efficiently and safely.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed, including job reports and client communication.
- Uphold health and safety standards at all times, both for oneself, team members and the public.
- Continuously update knowledge on industry trends, best practices, and safety protocols.
- Represent the company in a professional manner, fostering positive relationships with clients and the community.
Preferred Skills
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Tree Surgeon or Arborist.
- Current NPTC (or equivalent) arboricultural/ chainsaw/chipper qualifications
- Proficient in the use of arboricultural equipment and tools.
- Sound knowledge of tree species, health assessments, and proper pruning techniques.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with clients and team members.
- Strong commitment to safety, with awareness of and adherence to industry standards.
- Physical fitness and stamina to perform tasks that may involve climbing, lifting, and prolonged outdoor activity.
- Valid driving license (preferably with Category B + E entitlement).
