We offer a complete range of arboriculture services including all aspects of Tree surgery, Tree Surveying, Tree Stump removal, Tree Risk management and Tree/Vegetation Clearance Services.

Dovetail Group require a Utility Arborist to work in a 3/4 man team delivering planned and emergency tree works nationwide. The ideal candidate would be confident in following specifications, performing branch removal operations, felling a range of small to large trees and vegetation and carrying out skilled arboriculture including climbing, felling, pruning.

Our hours are Monday - Friday, 7am – 3:30pm (half an hour unpaid lunch) and our yard is situated in the countryside of Hampton-In-Arden. We have modified arborist vans that are fully equipped with all the equipment you will need to fulfil the role.

Role and Responsibilities:

• Carry out various arboriculture tasks in compliance with industry standards.
• Ability to perform utility arboriculture work whilst complying with health and safety regulations.
• Be trained and competent to use any specialised equipment and/or techniques for efficient tree work in utility/ commercial and domestic environments
• Work closely and cohesively with team members and adhere to safety protocols.

Qualifications:

• First Aid Certification.
• NPTC: 201 Chainsaw Maintenance, Cross Cutting, 202 Felling & Processing Trees Up To 380mm, 304 Felling & Processing Trees Over 380mm [Groundsman] + 203 Tree Climb & Aerial Rescue, 204 Aerial Cutting Of Trees Using Free Fall Techniques, 302 Aerial Tree Pruning, 303 Aerial Tree Rigging.
• UA: 301,302,303,304 & 305.
• Full UK Driving Licence.
• Able to work using own initiative.
• Ability to work as part of a team.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in utility arboriculture operations.
• Up to date qualifications and certifications in utility arboriculture.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Strong knowledge of health and safety procedures and industry regulations.
• Full clean UK driving license.
