Groundsperson - Horsham / West Sussex Area
About the job
Ground staff required for full time work (5 days a week) on a PAYE or self employed basis. We are based in Horsham West Sussex and operate within a 50 mile radius of this, predominantly working around HV power lines and also within our busy domestic sector. We contract to various utility companies delivering vegetation management around assets ensuring the networks resilience. Applicants will need to have a strong work ethic, have a positive outlook and work well as part of a professional team. Within the role there is the opportunity to earn more than your salary with emergency standby cover, out of hours and weekend work.

Preferred Skills
CS30, CS31, NPTC 222 (woodchipper), UA1, First Aid + F and Manual Handling.
UA1 is preferred but training will be provided as necessary.
Candidates must hold a current, full UK Driving License. HGV would be an advantage but not essential.
Candidates will also be required to attend a fit to work, drugs and alcohol test and carry out a DBS check.
