**Job Description:**
We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Tree Climber/Arborist/Tree Surgeon to lead a small team on a variety of domestic and commercial tree surgery projects. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in the industry, with the ability to manage jobs from start to finish, ensuring the highest standards of safety and quality.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Lead and manage a small team of tree surgeons on various domestic and commercial projects.
- Perform all aspects of tree surgery, including tree climbing, pruning, felling, and dismantling, using appropriate techniques and equipment.
- Conduct site assessments and risk evaluations to ensure safety and compliance with industry standards.
- Communicate effectively with clients, providing professional advice and ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Maintain and care for tools and equipment, ensuring they are safe and in good working order.
- Ensure all work is completed efficiently, on time, and to a high standard.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations and company policies.
**Requirements:**
- Proven experience as a Tree Climber/Arborist/Tree Surgeon.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team.
- Proficient in all aspects of tree work, including the use of chainsaws, climbing equipment, and rigging.
- Relevant industry qualifications (e.g., NPTC/City & Guilds).
- A strong understanding of health and safety practices within arboriculture.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- A valid UK driving license (preferably with towing capability).
