UrbanVirons Group (Urbans) is a South Australian owned and operated company providing a range of Arboricultural, Civil, Environmental, Horticultural, Landscape Construction, Sports Turf & Open Spaces and Weed & Pest Management services to State & Local Government, High Profile Grounds & Facilities, Residential Housing and Commercial Clients.

We are seeking an enthusiastic, experienced, and highly motivated candidates for the position/s of Climbing Arborists, EWP Operators & Groundcrew to join our dynamic and professional team, where we operate on the principle of a 4 day work week.

The Role

  • Works will include but not limited to: Tree Removals, Climbing Works, Street Tree Pruning/Reductions & Formative Pruning within South Australia. Our clients are spread all over South Australia so there may be opportunities to work away with Living Away From Home Allowance.


  • MR Truck Licence
  • EWP above 11m - only for EWP Operator Role
  • Experience within Arboriculture industry and undertaking relevant works
  • Experience maintaining arboriculture machinery & equipment
  • Certificate III in Arboriculture or Horticulture (or similar)
  • WZTM
  • White Card (or be willing to obtain)

About You

  • Basic computer skills for daily reporting
  • Proficiency in standard Arb related tasks.
  • An ability to learn advanced arboriculture industry techniques. 
  • Discuss and complete site risk assessments (digital) at the beginning of each job.
  • Proactively reporting of maintenance/repair for any assets (vehicles and/or equipment)
  • Always act in a courteous, responsible, and professional manner.
  • High regard for all safety requirements.

ABOUT YOU To be successful you must have:

  • Cert II or III in Arboriculture or 2 years’ experience within a tree team.
  • Experience maintaining arboriculture machinery & equipment.
  • High regard for all safety requirements.
  • Basic computer skills for daily reporting.
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment medical, including drug screen.
  • National Police Clearance.
  • Construction Industry White Card (or be willing to obtain). PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES

  • Ability to forward think, problem solve and use initiative.
  • Attention to detail ensuring quality of work is of the highest standard.
  • Excellent communication skills.
