Preferred Skills

You will need to hold NPTC qualifications for ground based and aerial chainsaw activities including as a minimum CS30, CS31, CS38, CS39 as well as chipper operation and maintenance and an in date emergency first aid certificate (preferably arb/forestry specific).

A level 2 qualification in Arboriculture would be an advantage as would certificates in rigging operations and MEWP competency, New Roads and Street Works act certification.

As well as being a competent climber with a minimum of 2 years climbing experience you will have a keen focus on safe working practice, care and maintenance of arboricultural plant, vehicles and equipment and a passion for high quality tree care.

You must be focused, committed and hard working and as well as being resourceful and able to work well with others should be a motivator and an independent self starter

A full driving licence is required as a minimum and 2 references will be required
