Due to continual growth within South Australia, we currently have several fulltime opportunities for experienced Climbing Arborists, to join our rapidly expanding tree business.
URBANS arboriculture team provides services to a broad range of clients, including councils, government, commercial and private clients throughout the Adelaide Metropolitan Area, Adelaide Hills, and Fleurieu Peninsula. No Job is too big or too small.

About the job

We provide a full range of Arboricultural services, using specialised and cutting-edge equipment to ensure works are carried out safely and efficiently.

We offer ongoing occupational training and development because we know our team collectively make the business a success.

The positions available are full time. All PPE and uniforms are supplied. Tools and equipment are provided but own climbing kit is preferred.

An attractive salary package between $80,000 - $100,000 (plus superannuation) commensurate with skills and experience will be negotiated. For the right candidate we are offering long term sponsorship opportunities. Temporary working visa is available from the Australian government migration scheme for applicants under the age 31. Possible accommodation (determined by arrival date)

If all this sounds good, it gets better. Here at Urbans, we operate on a 4 day work week but you will be paid the equivalent of a typical 5 day week. This gives you a 3-day weekend every weekend to enjoy Adelaide and its surroundings.

Preferred Skills

Australian qualifications:
• AQF Certificate III (or equivalent overseas qualification) or have at least three years’ relevant hands-on employment experience in arboriculture;
• EWP High Risk Licence or willingness to obtain;
• MR/HR Drivers Licence.

Skills that map to the above Australian standards:
• Driver's Licence
• CS30 – Maintain The Chainsaw
• CS31 – Fell Small Trees
• CS36 – Cross – cut & Stack procedure
• CS38 – Climb Trees & perform Aerial rescue
• CS39 – Operate the chainsaw from a rope & harness
• CS40 – Pruning operations (beneficial)
• CS41 – Dismantling of large trees (beneficial)
• Brushwood Chipper operations (NPTC)
