As a Ground Staff member at Simply Tree Services, you will play a vital role in supporting our arborists and ensuring the smooth running of utility tree surgery and vegetation management operations. This is a hands-on, outdoor position that requires teamwork, attention to detail and a commitment to safety. Your responsibilities will include:

• Assisting with all aspects of tree work and site clearance
• Preparing and maintaining work sites to ensure efficiency and safety
• Operating and maintaining chainsaws, wood chippers and other specialist equipment (training provided)
• Assist in the loading and unloading of equipment and machinery
• Handling and processing timber and green waste
• Support climbing operations with visual and communicative support to assist awareness and safe completion of tasks
• Communicating effectively with team members to ensure tasks are completed to a high standard
• Upholding health and safety protocols at all times

Preferred Skills

We are looking for candidates who hold (or are willing to work towards) the following certifications and skills:

• First Aid Training
• Manual Handling Training
• NPTC/Lantra Woodchipper
• NPTC UA301 Basic Electrical Awareness
• Full UK Driving Licence or able to get to Wootton Green office
