About the job

This is a varied position where you will split your time between:

1 Arboricultural Surveying & Reporting

* Carrying out tree surveys for safety, condition and management planning

* Producing high-quality professional reports in line with BS5827; BS3998 and other relevant standards

* Advising clients on tree health, risk management and preservation

2 Health & Safety Compliance

* Overseeing and maintaining health & safety systems across all contracting operations

* Conducting site inspections, risk assessments and method statements

* Ensuring compliance with LOLER, PUWER, AFAG and other industry regulations

* Coordinating staff training and toolbox talks

* Keeping up to date with legislation and best practice

Relevant arboricultural qualifications (e.g. Level 3 or higher)

Proven experience in tree surveying and professional report writing

Sound understanding of industry health and safety requirements NEBOSH/IOSH qualification (or willingness to work towards)

Strong organisational and communication skills, written & verbal

Practical arboricultural experience

Full UK driving licence

Busy Arboricultural Contracting and Consultancy based near Ledbury, Herefordshire
