We are seeking a skilled and motivated Arborist Climber to join our friendly team. The role involves all aspects of tree surgery, including crown reductions, dismantles, pruning, and site clearance. You will work alongside a supportive ground crew and have the opportunity to work on a wide variety of projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Carry out climbing arboricultural operations safely and efficiently
• Undertake pruning, felling, and dismantling to industry standards (BS3998)
• Operate chainsaws and other arboricultural equipment competently
• Maintain a safe and tidy work site at all times
• Support and mentor junior team members where needed
• Provide excellent customer service, representing the company in a professional manner

Preferred Skills

Requirements:

• Relevant NPTC / City & Guilds qualifications (e.g. CS30, CS31, CS38, CS39 as a minimum)
• Proven climbing experience with good technical ability
• Strong awareness of health & safety and industry best practice
• Full UK driving licence (towing licence beneficial)
• Reliable, hardworking, and able to work well as part of a team

Desirable:

• Additional tickets (e.g. CS40, CS41, MEWP, stump grinder, chipper)
• First Aid at Work + Forestry (EFAW+F)
• Experience with both commercial and domestic tree work
