Arboricultural surveyor jobs in the UK 

We are a North-West based, but nationwide, consultancy looking to expand with two new roles as a result of securing a number of new contracts.

The company is looking for a Principal Arboricultural Consultant (Planning) and a Tree Surveyor. Although we are based in the North West your “office” can be anywhere with Wi-Fi

As a Tree Surveyor, you'll be supporting our Principal Arboriculture Consultant (Tree Management).

What you’ll be doing:

• Undertaking tree risk management surveys, woodland management surveys; gathering site data to a high degree of accuracy to the client’s requirements.
• Advising clients on tree management best practice and relevant legislation
• Producing tree heath reports from multiple small-scale sites and providing support for large Housing Trust Surveys
• Liaising confidently with our clients
• Travelling to sites, when necessary, across the UK
• Work closely with our arboriculture, ecology and landscape colleagues to deliver integrated solutions.

Preferred Skills

• A Level 4 , higher arboricultural qualification or equivalent arboricultural qualification
• A valid UK driving licence and the ability to occasionally work away for an evening or two.

Bonus points if:

• You have approximately 2 year’s experience
• You’ve used AutoCAD and QGIS
• You have the ability to discuss matters with clients without jargon
