We are looking for a grounds person/ chainsaw operative with minimum 2 years experience to come join our expanding team. To be a competent chainsaw operative who can carry out a range of tasks such as felling, cross-cutting, using hand fed chippers. Also, working alongside mechanised tree felling equipment such as excavators, whole tree chippers on large scale felling projects.

Candidate to have a good work ethic, punctual and to be able to work to a high standard of quality, safety and efficiency. Looking for someone who is a self- motivated, a positive member who can be proactive but also likes a challenge. HGV license not essential but desirable. Progression is encouraged with scope for further qualifications and training.

Rates of pay relative to experience and qualifications.

Preferred Skills

  • We are seeking a fully qualified Groundsman/ chainsaw operative with experience.
  • Full UK driving license is essential. 
  • HGV license desirable. 
  • Be local to our yard in Leeds or suitable travelling distance.
  • NPTC Qualifications; CS30, CS31 minimum
  • CSCS (desired but can be provided)
  • First Aid (desired but will be provided if not trained)
  • (Further training and progression is encouraged)
