A fantastic opportunity to join a multi-disciplinary, forward-thinking environmental consultancy specialising in the planning industry. ACD Environmental have offices in Wiltshire, Hampshire and Surrey. We work for a range of clients including house builders, developers, planners, architects, local planning authorities and private clients.
We are currently seeking an Arboricultural Consultant to work in our Godalming office. Providing consultancy services based on BS5837:2012 primarily to property developers and the building industry, providing support to senior, consultant and graduate arboriculturists. ACD is a multidisciplinary practice of ecologists, arboriculturists, archaeologists and landscape architects, that offers a unique opportunity to work on a range of projects within a wider team.
The candidate will have suitable qualifications, and we are looking for someone with experience carrying out BS5837 Tree Surveys, producing Arboricultural Impact Assessments, Tree Protection Plans and Arboricultural Method Statements and providing advice on tree matters in relation to planning.
The position is based at our Godalming office, with access to pool cars for carrying out tree surveys. We strive to have an enjoyable work environment, and we are seeking a commercially minded candidate with the ability to achieve tight deadlines and be able to work effectively with a wide range of clients and professionals. Excellent communication skills, both verbally and in writing are considered very important, as well as a confident but calm approach. The role will entail managing your own projects with the support of the existing team, and also providing support to the existing consultants.
