About the CompanyWestside Forestry Limited is a successful, family run Arb AC business who offer a professional specialist tree management service with fully trained and certified arborists. We are based in the West Midlands area where we have been working since 1976.
We are a well established arboricultural contractor undertaking all aspects of tree care and management for domestic customers and commercial clients, as well as local authorities. Undertaking jobs ranging from sectional dismantling dangerous trees in restricted areas, remedial and preventative pruning, stump grinding / removal and planting.
About the jobWFL based in Belbroughton, West Midlands & are a small family run business carrying out a variety of tree services, site clearance & hedge work. We’ve been trading for over 40 years in both the domestic & commercial sectors.
We need a hardworking and enthusiastic groundsman to join our existing team prepared to work to a high standard of quality and health and safety.
Alongside our conventional workload, WFL carry out many specialist works, including technical crane works, rigging and large take down operations, and HIAB and MEWP works.
We offer you an excellent work environment, with a large range of modern arboricultural equipment.
40 hours per week;
Potential for overtime;
20 days paid holiday plus bank holidays;
We also supply all PPE and company clothing.
Regular Health Surveillance.

You will have the opportunity to earn between £22,000.00 and £26,000.00 per annum depending on qualifications and experience.
Professional Development: Additional training and qualifications will be provided as necessary as part of our commitment to maintaining and enhancing a skilled and competent workforce.

Preferred SkillsApplicants must:
Be able to work to an extremely high standard of both safety and quality.
Have minimum full driving licence.
Have the following certificates or equivalent:
City & Guilds NPTC Level 2, Chainsaw Maintenance and Cross Cutting.
City & Guilds NPTC Level 2, Felling and Processing Trees up to 380mm.
City & Guilds NPTC Level 2, Tree Climbing and Rescue.
Have at least 1 year Arboricultural experience.
Be willing to work as part of a team and take pride in their work.
Experience with plant.
C1 or above driving licence.
CSCS Site Safety Card.
NRSWA Street Works Card.
First Aid Certification.
