About the jobWe are seeking a driven and enthusiastic individual, ideally possessing consultancy experience and looking to establish a career within an ambitious environmental consultancy.
As an arboriculturalist you will be involved in the delivery of projects for both internal and external clients and supporting with a growing portfolio of projects.
The duties will include:
Assisting / undertaking site inspections and tree surveys to BS5837:2012 standard
Using OTISS data capture for survey work (training will be provided)
Preparing drawings and reports using Microsoft Office, AutoCAD and QArb software (training can be provided)
Adhering to agreed deadlines
Preferred SkillsDesirable Skills & Experience
Level 3 arboricultural qualification (or equivalent) highly desirable
Experience of writing tree works specification and tender documentations advantageous
Proficient tree identification skills
An understanding of arboriculture, including the delivery of BS5837 development related surveys
Proficient use of Microsoft Office applications
A willingness to be trained to use QArb software, AutoCAD / BricsCAD and OTISS data capture
A willingness to obtain The Technicians Membership of the Arboricultural Association (TechArborA)
Strong interpersonal skills allowing for effective working relationships with colleagues and clients to be built / maintained
A full UK Driving licence
Ability to travel when required
