About the Role
We are looking for an Arborist / Arboriculturist to join our growing team at our Milton Keynes office. Reporting to the Technical Director, you will be responsible for carrying out tree surveying and inspections and providing reports for clients with regards to trees. Your role will also involve the provision of hazard assessments regarding trees surveyed and you will support Planners and other professionals regarding trees and woodlands. You will also produce high quality reports, associated CAD/GIS plans and you will input arboricultural advice into planning applications and in the EIA process.

About You
Suitable candidates will have a minimum Level 3 in Arboriculture / National Diploma in Arboriculture or equivalent and at least 1 years’ experience in arboriculture / forestry undertaking tree surveys and hazard assessments. Experience working in urban and rural environments is preferred as is the ability to assess work required, set priorities and deliver within agreed timescales. You will have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and be able to work effectively individually, or as part of a team. The opportunity to progress/work at a senior level leading a team is available. Experience dealing with the public is required as well as working with clients and colleagues in other disciplines. The ability to write reports and present findings to others is a key element of this role and hence good skills in Microsoft Office are essential. A working knowledge of AutoCAD and Esri GIS or database tree management systems would be advantageous. Occasionally, jobs may fall outside designated working hours, so flexibility is also preferred. Full UK driving licence is required.
