We are looking for a GENERAL MANAGER to help lead our next phase of growth, overseeing daily operations, team performance and business development.

This is a hands-on management role, ideal for someone with a background in arboriculture.

Key Responsibilities:

*  Oversee day-to-day operations across all teams and sites;

*  Manage scheduling, resourcing and project delivery to ensure jobs run smoothly and safely;

*  Lead, motivate and support operational staff and supervisors;

*  Ensure all health & safety, environmental and quality standards are maintained;

* Drive efficiency, profitability and customer satisfaction;

* Support business growth through client relationships, tenders and new opportunities;

*  Work closely with senior partners to develop and deliver business strategy.

Preferred Skills

We are looking for a confident and capable leader who's equally comfortable on-site or in the office.

ESSENTIAL

* Proven experience in a management or supervisory role (ideally in tree surgery, landscaping or construction);

* Strong leadership, communication and organisational skills;

* Good understanding of health & safety and operational compliance;

* Financial awareness;

* Full UK driving licence.

DESIRABLE

* Arboricultural or forestry qualifications (Level 3+ in Arboriculture);

* IOSH/NEBOSH certificate;

* Experience working with both domestic and commercial clients;
