We are currently seeking a skilled and motivated Climbing Arborist to join our expanding team at CPS Grounds Ltd. This is an exciting opportunity for a professional arborist who enjoys working outdoors, values teamwork, and takes pride in high-quality tree care.
As a Climbing Arborist, you will carry out a range of arboricultural operations including tree pruning, removals, crown reductions, and inspections across a variety of sites, primarily in the education and sports sectors. You will work alongside a dedicated and experienced team using modern equipment, with safety and industry best practices at the heart of what we do.
Key Responsibilities
Perform aerial tree work including climbing, pruning, felling, and dismantling.
Operate chainsaws and other arboricultural equipment safely and efficiently.
Ensure all work is completed to a high standard and in line with health and safety regulations.
Communicate effectively with team members and site contacts.
Maintain tools, equipment, and vehicles to a high standard.
Preferred Skills
Preferred Skills
- Competency in climbing and grounds man duties in addition to driving and towing.
- Demonstrate competent climbing skills, rigging techniques, and pruning skills.
- Adhere to health and safety standards and best practice.
Essential Skills
-Minimum 2-years climbing experience.
- A willingness to learn and a keen interest in all aspects of Arboriculture.
- An individual who is willing to work as part of a team and take pride in their work.
-CS Qualified with a minimum of CS30/31/38/39.
-Full UK Driving License
