We are currently seeking at least two full time tree surgeons to join are skilled and motivated team.  Atkinson Tree Services Ltd is an established family run business with long term legacy agreements and relationships with our clients.  This gives us the security and a consistent workflow of a large business with a small company feel.  We are a Safe Contractor and CQMS accredited company, demonstrating our commitment to providing a professional and safe working environment.

We are a tree surgery, site clearance and woodland business and therefore you will generally be doing ground or aerial based tree work.  Our tree and clearance work does not reduce in the summer months and therefore, hedge cutting and strimmer works are kept to a minimum.  We have a variety of commercial and some domestic clients undertaking works for utility, construction, estates, housing and highways sectors.

Ideally, you will be a qualified tree surgeon however, we will consider individuals who have ground based chainsaw units and are looking to make the next step in their tree work career. 

We have a number of roles to fill including Team Leaders, Climbers and Aerial Rescuers.

What we are looking for: 

  • A motivated professional team player who will thrive in a small personal team and is able to push themselves to continually improve their skills.
  • Individuals who work to a high standard of work following the latest professional and safety standards.
  • A full UK driving licence is required.
  • Ideally individuals who already holds the relevant industry qualifications such as NPTC certificates: 201(CS30), 202(CS31), 206/306(CS38) 308(CS39).
