Austin Tree Care Ltd is looking for a Lead / Second Utility Arborist to join our team working on a well-established UK Power Networks contract in the Cambridge and Bedford area.
We’re offering either full-time PAYE employment or self-employed positions, with competitive rates negotiable based on experience. All climbing and PPE kit is provided for PAYE employees.
The role involves a mix of climbing and MEWP-based line clearance, so we’re looking for someone with solid experience in both but it’s not essential. You should have a minimum of 3 years climbing experience, strong technical ability, and a professional attitude towards safety and teamwork.
Preferred Skills
Essential..
UK driving license.
An in date Emergency first aid + F.
Nptc CS 30, 31, 38, 39 (or equivalent eg LANTRA).
Operation of a manually fed woodchipper.
An in date UA 301.
Qualifications preferred but not essential..
UA 302, 303, 304, 305, 306
IPAF
Use of CAT + Genny
And a willingness to undertake random drink and drug tests if requested by UK power networks.
