Arborist Climber Wanted - Eastleigh

We are a small tree surgery and grounds maintenance company based in Fishers Pond near Winchester. With workloads increasing we are looking to bring in full-time climbers and ground staff to assist in our varied tree works in the commercial and domestic sectors.

Applicants for the climbing arborist roles should have some industry experience and CS units up to 0039-23 (chainsaw from a rope and harness) and 0039-31 (aerial tree pruning) as a minimum. CS 0039-25 (branch removal and crown breakdown) and 0039-32 (Aerial Rigging) would be advantageous.

Applicants which have recently left college or newly qualified without any industry experience might be considered for on the job training if they have a good attitude and willing to learn.

Other desirable qualifications to include chipper tickets, CSCS, Signing Lighting and Guarding, EFAW and any other industry relevant certification. A driving license is essential.

Further important attributes include reliability and good time keeping, enthusiasm and a good problem-solving ability, a high level of common sense and be able to work as part of a team.

Suitable candidates will be invited to attend a paid trial day to demonstrate their ability and see how they fit into the team. Applicants can request to be employed or self-employed with good pay rates offered dependent on skills, experience and attitude.
