Second Climber – Arboriculture Professional. 

We are seeking a developing and motivated Second Climber to join our professional arboricultural team. This role requires a sound understanding of arboriculture practices and the ability to carry out all climbing operations to a high standard of safety and competence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform all aspects of tree work including pruning and dismantling.  

  • Carry out aerial tree work in accordance with industry best practices and safety standards

  • Operate and maintain climbing and rigging equipment safely and effectively

  • Support team operations on the ground as required

  • Ensure all work is completed efficiently and in compliance with health and safety regulations

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 1 years' practical climbing experience in tree climbing operations.

  • Qualified with appropriate NPTC/LANTRA certifications (e.g., CS30, CS31, CS38, CS39 or equivalent)

  • Strong understanding of modern climbing techniques, rigging systems, and equipment use

  • Excellent time management, communication skills, and personal presentation

  • Reliable, proactive, and committed to delivering high standards of workmanship

  • A full UK driving licence is desirable
