Second Climber – Arboriculture Professional.
We are seeking a developing and motivated Second Climber to join our professional arboricultural team. This role requires a sound understanding of arboriculture practices and the ability to carry out all climbing operations to a high standard of safety and competence.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform all aspects of tree work including pruning and dismantling.
Carry out aerial tree work in accordance with industry best practices and safety standards
Operate and maintain climbing and rigging equipment safely and effectively
Support team operations on the ground as required
Ensure all work is completed efficiently and in compliance with health and safety regulations
Requirements:
Minimum of 1 years' practical climbing experience in tree climbing operations.
Qualified with appropriate NPTC/LANTRA certifications (e.g., CS30, CS31, CS38, CS39 or equivalent)
Strong understanding of modern climbing techniques, rigging systems, and equipment use
Excellent time management, communication skills, and personal presentation
Reliable, proactive, and committed to delivering high standards of workmanship
A full UK driving licence is desirable
